Euro 2008 - Spain is the new champion!!!

“We're the champions my friend!! And we'll keep on fighting till the end!!...” That sings us Freddy Mercury with Queen, and Alonso with Renault few years ago, and now the Spanish football team is able to sing the same song with all their fans all over the world!!

Tonight was a party for everyone who does love great football, everyone enjoyed the match I guess (well, maybe Germans didn't at all HAHA!). It was full of good technique and lots of exciting moments for the Spanish team. The Spanish crowd, believed! The Spanish players did it!

Congratulations to all players!!! Finally you did it!!!

After all I'm pretty excited and happy, and wanted to comment something because can't get asleep :P I saw some news about Fernando Alonso's bet for this final, Spain 1 : Germany 0. And seems he won his bet ;) He assisted to the match in the Ernst-Happel-Stadion, and pretty excited every time the camera showed him.

Great performance, looks like this time really the best team won the tournament ... Scary to even think how young your team is and for how much longer they can rule the football world ... At the end, I think it is much tougher to win EURO than World Cup ...

This was the only late game I did watch live this EURO (the late games started 2:45 am our time) but thought I'd make the effort at least for the final :-)

Missed Alonso, haven's seen him in the crowd, but he does seem happy on the picture you posted here :-)
