You hear that all the time that it's insane to drive there. Watching the video you posted on your blog with the in car cam and the bouncing around, I just can't believe it. The racers love it though.
Great fight in those narrow streets ! I was there last year, walked those streets few times once they opened them up in the late afternoon, can't believe someone actually can be insane enough to race there :-) . On Saturday my seat was at the exit of La Rascasse, where Kimi broke his car during quali, you sit so close to the track that you can look the drivers into the eyes when they drive by ...
I never did get to see the likes of Prost, Mansell and Senna drive. An ocean away and not able to make it work at the time. I envy you guys who can get up and go easily. :)
I was little but already aware to remember this race, I was jumping like little a monkey for sure arround my father :-) In that age I liked Keke, but Mansell did a great fight in this race!
This year was my first time in a GP, the Spanish. And you all can imagine the impact on a child of such a great race! It still remains nowadays HEHE :-)
I didn't remember the engine blow, certainly Mansell had a great chance to win the McLaren in his last coughts, but Senna knew to close him the way really good! Good luck that I had the oportunity to see Senna and live the moment he was driving for Williams (but it was too much shocking how it ended...).
