i'm just enjoying myself with Formula One racing which has become a part of my life and off course yours,
I watch Formula 1 since 1998 without missing a race , I think.I attend 3 Gps Sepang 2000, Turkey 2006 and the recent Singapore night race 2008 so the rest are on TV..
i hope i'll meet a lot of friends here as well as sharing the ideas and opinions about formula 1, all of everything.

although I am not really a McLaren fan I must say their new car looks good. but whether it performs better is another question. I think noone can tell until the cars run on the same track at the same time. we shold have seen that this week in Algarve, but unfortunatelly Ferrari moved their test to Mugello ...
ineteresting question ... a hole shoudl not be classified as an appendage right :-) ? I haven't seen anything like that on their new F60 car though. but they already seem to be exploring all the loopholes of new 2009 regulations when it comes to their sidepods design so I am sure that if the hole in the nose section of the car is not illegal and proves to be useful, it will appear on the car at some stage.
the shark fin on and off exercise was interesting, but I think Toyota and Honda were playing with it too on Friday. One reason for that may be the wind. it looked rather windy on TV today. Perhaps the fin worked OK on some parts of the track but was a hindrance on other parts due to the wind and the teams needed to see whether it is better to run with or without it.
we will see , on Friday the pace of Ferrari and McLaren was very close in the long runs, the quick times of McLarens may only mean that they did more low fuel running than Ferrari. It also may mean that Mclarens are faster :-) it is always difficult to read into these free practice times. you never know what the teams doing during them
You see, even this morning, Saturday, Ferraris were quite slow, times similar to Hondas. But few people would actually believe that Ferrari is as slow as Honda ...
